Daniel joined Bennetts Associates in 2007 and has worked on a wide range of projects at varying scales and in different sectors. He has contributed to the strategic development of scheme designs in project and competition teams, as well as implementing designs through the construction and delivery phases. Daniel is currently project architect on a large mixed-use office and residential scheme on a challenging canalside site in Camden for Reef Estates. He was project architect for the Chester Storyhouse, a mixed-use theatre, cinema and library project which extends and remodels a Grade II listed 1930s Odeon. Prior to this Daniel undertook project architect roles on two historic building projects in London, the refurbishment of a Victorian warehouse for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and the remodelling of the Grade II* listed Old Vic theatre. He was part of the design team for the shortlisted Stonehenge visitor centre competition and played a central role in the design of the library in the competition-winning Oxford Humanities project.
Daniel is interested in riding and restoring old bicycles and has recently rebuilt a classic steel-framed 1970s racer.
