Gina joined the practice in 2018 after completion of her Part 1 study at Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. Having lived, studied and worked in Shanghai, Toronto and Edinburgh, she is particularly interested in the urban and architectural idea of place-making. Many of her university projects featured ‘minor surgeries’ which act upon the existing European city context, modify the uses and prolong the life of buildings. Currently working on the redevelopment of the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow and King’s Theatre in Edinburgh, she is enjoying the opportunity to further explore her thoughts on this topic.
Outside the studio, Gina has been involved in a few self-build projects over the summer. She also enjoys life drawing, badminton and scuba diving.
