Jade first joined Bennetts Associates in 2007 and has been with the practice for all of her architectural career. She has extensive experience of both commercial and cultural projects, and is able to apply the rigour and discipline of the former to give structure to the latter. A key member of the team for the RIBA award-winning development at 40 Chancery Lane, she saw it through from design to completion. Since then Jade has completed numerous feasibility studies for theatres in London and Manchester. She played a central role in the façade retention of the historic London Fruit and Wool Exchange, as well as the cladding design of its new atrium and courtyard. Jade was integral to the team that won the recent competition for Woolwich Creative District, having previously worked on the Royal Arsenal masterplan feasibility study for the Royal Borough of Greenwich. She is currently working on the refurbishment of a Victorian warehouse in central London for a medical Royal College.
Jade has had an international upbringing, living in Japan, Germany and the UK. In 2012, she performed in the sold-out adaptation of Jung Chang’s ‘Wild Swans’ directed by Sacha Wares at The Young Vic theatre.
