Kathleen joined Bennetts Associates in 2018 to work on the practice’s growing portfolio of Manchester based projects. Prior to joining the practice, she worked on public realm projects for various councils including the ‘Longest Football Pitch in the World’. She recently completed a research placement at Ruskin’s Ancient Oak Timber Yard researching the extreme wastage of sap wood as part of the concept designs for ‘Studio in the Woods’. Kathleen studied at Arts University Bournemouth and Manchester School of Architecture as part of USE. She has a love for traditional materials and reprographics, stemming from a childhood watching her grandfather in his workshop. In her spare time she is a volunteer for an Immigration Support Group, supporting asylum seekers in their applications.
