Megan joined Bennetts Associates in 2012 to oversee the cladding package for the new offices at 70 Mark Lane. Her role involved developing the construction details and orchestrating the trade contractor’s drawings and manufacture of the curtain walling. This allowed Megan to consolidate her expertise in this area, having been responsible for construction packages and detail design on large-scale mixed-use projects with previous practice Foster + Partners. The Mark Lane project reached practical completion in 2014.
Since her return from maternity leave, Megan has been working on the Student Services Centre for Cambridge University. She is responsible for the renovation of the existing buildings within the scheme and is enjoying the challenge of resolving the complexities that arise when working with significant listed buildings.
Megan was shortlisted and commended for her entry to the RIBA 2011 ‘Forgotten Spaces’ competition. Her project, ‘The Co-op Pub’, was exhibited and published in AJ magazine. She spent seven months travelling in East Africa prior to joining the practice.
