Mert is a qualified architect and urban planner from Turkey with a Master’s degree in Architectural Design Computing. He has over 17 years of experience in Turkey and the UK, and has been involved in medium to large-scale design projects including residential, mixed-use and commercial developments and various masterplans.

At Bennetts Associates, Mert plays a key part within the practice’s evolving BIM group as he specialises in BIM technologies focused on management and coordination of design information. With project work, he has been involved with the various design packages at Stage 4 and 5 in both Timber Square and Tribeca. The combination of having architecture and urban planning degrees, Mert believes that successful design is the one which connects even the smallest architectural detail to the city and its habitant’s everyday lives.
