Ruth joined the Edinburgh studio for a year-long Part I placement in 2016 during her undergraduate degree and worked on the Jaguar Land Rover project. She re-joined the practice in 2022 following the completion of her Master of Architecture at the University of Edinburgh and works in the King’s Theatre team. 

Her masters project took an incremental approach to developing a derelict site on the Forth & Clyde Canal in Glasgow through engaging with local infrastructure and reclaimed materials. The project was nominated for the Sustainable Design and Andy MacMillan Drawing awards at the Architecture & Design Scotland and RIAS Student Awards.
