Julian Lipscombe to give a talk as part of the Australian Architecture Association's Black Talk series

Taking place at the Austral Brick Design Studio in Sydney on 20 July and titled ‘The Imperative of Place – an Evolution in Approach’, Julian’s talk will explore the role for a distinctive ‘sense of place’ as a counterpoint to the seemingly inexorable tide of globalisation in architecture and the built environment. It will showcase Bennetts Associates’ current work and track essays on the subject by Julian and his colleagues in the practice’s forthcoming book – Bennetts Associates: Five Insights.
