The AJ Retrofit Awards revealed their shortlist today and we are excited that the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists is being recognised in the shortlist for the Workplace category. The winner will be announced February 2022 and until then, we will keep our finger's crossed. Congratulations to the whole team who worked on the project!
Project Description:
'The project knits together two existing buildings, a converted 19th century hop warehouse and a purpose-built 1980s office building where spaces within have been designed to accommodate the College’s future requirements in the coming decades and celebrate its role as a hub for women’s health globally. The building provides a multitude of flexible educational, workplace, social spaces as well as meeting and working areas for members from the UK and around the world.
Both The Royal College of Midwifes and Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health occupy spaces in the building, further satisfying the aspiration to create a building dedicated to Women’s Health.'
