    10×10 Drawing the City London

A live and silent auction of artwork created by over 100 prominent artists, architects and designers

The 10×10 theme this year is London’s largest contemporary infrastructure project – the Elizabeth line. Through its on-going development, key transport hubs along its route have transformed the urban landscape, offering London a new experience of the city.

The abstracted grid of 100 squares trace the route of the Elizabeth line from Paddington station to Whitechapel. Invited artists have contributed unique pieces of art inspired by their ‘square.’ These artworks will come together on the night of the auction to raise much-needed funds for Article 25’s work with vulnerable communities around the world.

Rab’s piece is entitled ‘Crossrail : Moorgate, 1993’ – “The ‘Elizabeth Line’ theme prompts me to look back 25 years, when we did our first scheme for Crossrail. (Yes, it was 1993!) The air-rights building above the Moorgate entrance to Liverpool Street Station was perched above the escalator hall, with daylight and views penetrating deep into the ground.”

View or bid on Rab’s piece via the online auction Paddle8 website here.

The auction event will take place at 18.30 on Thursday 22nd November 2018 at London’s soon to be completed newest Skyscraper, Twentytwo – 22 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AJ.

This is an invite only event and we welcome you to join us at London’s newest Skyscraper for this special evening where you will have the opportunity to enjoy some fine hospitality while you donate, view and bid on all the artwork in support of Article 25. link to get a ticket
