10×10 Drawing the City London 2019 - Isle of Dogs

Once again, Rab took part and donated two hand-sketches to this year's 10x10 Drawing the City Auction, a fundraising event organised by Article 25.

A unique concept, 10×10 brings together 100 prominent artists, designers, and architects to create 100 pieces of art, offering 100 unique reflections on the constantly changing landscape of the city.
A grid of 100 squares is cast over an area of London, dedicating a grid square to each artist to respond to through an artwork. These works then come together at a special fundraising auction in support of Article 25 and its ongoing work with vulnerable communities around the world.

Rab’s piece is entitled ‘East and West from Blue Bridge’ – “The two views from Blue Bridge could hardly be more different but they show how rapidly the area is changing. Looking east, the 'Millennium Dome' is surrounded by development: Looking west, south dock has the look of Chicago.”
