We are one of the 80+ UK businesses urging Prime Minister Boris Johnson to deliver coherent climate strategy in countdown to COP26

We are one of the 80 companies in the UK who have signed the letter coordinated by the UK Business Group Alliance for Net Zero (BGA). The letter has been sent to Boris Johnson, UK Prime Minister, and hopes to bring the voice of leading businesses and financial institutions to demonstrate support for ambitious domestic climate action and strong international diplomacy at a time when we are seeing increasingly vocal counter arguments and concerns raised of a loss of momentum. 

As hosts of November’s UN climate summit, the UK is being urged to seize opportunities to demonstrate its commitment to addressing the climate-nature crisis in the context of the IPCC’s warning that we have entered a ‘code red for humanity’.

Bennetts Associates is the first and one of the few architectural practices in the world to have approved science-based targets and be carbon neutral via the United Nations Climate Neutral Now framework. We believe sustainability underpins all truly long-lasting architecture and as founding members of the UK Green Building Council, we are continuing to practice what we preach internally and externally.
