In view of the dynamic COVID-19 situation, we want to take this opportunity to confirm that implementation of our established Business Continuity Strategy is well underway. This will ensure that the health risks to our staff are minimised and that we continue to service the requirements of our clients and fellow consultants. The potential impacts of the Coronavirus are, of course, unprecedented so we will continue to review/update our plans in light of evolving government guidance.
We employ 70 staff in our London, Edinburgh and Manchester offices and have long experience of working flexibly within and between the three locations. The processes and protocols which we have established over many years will help us to mitigate the impact of the spread of COVID-19.
Through a combination of company laptops and secure desktop access, our staff are fully enabled to work remotely on BIM and other softwares. All staff can access our email via business or personal phones and we are using Microsoft Teams collaboration software.
Social distancing measures are now being advised by the Government, with enforcement likely to follow over the coming period. We have already taken a number of steps in preparation, including:-
Our Management Team is monitoring government advice closely and now meets by VC immediately after the Government’s daily announcements to review policy/processes/mitigation accordingly.
We would like to take this opportunity to assure you that we will continue to support you and your business as far as we are able and will take whatever action is necessary or possible to maintain continuity of service to our clients and contacts over this difficult period.
With kind regards,
The Directors and staff of Bennetts Associates
