Bennetts Associates EMF Hairy Haggis Relay Race on JustGiving

Hannah, Iain, Jo and Sally from Bennetts Associates' Edinburgh studio are running the Edinburgh Marathon Festival relay race on Sunday 26 May 2019. The marathon course of 26.2 miles is split into 4 legs:

    • The first, The Royal Leg (run by Hannah), is 8.3 miles long and starts at Potterrow, right next to Bennetts Associates' Informatics and Bayes Centre buildings.
    • The second, The Cock & Pan Leg (run by Sally), is 5.5 miles long and covers the route along the Firth of Forth waterfront.
    • The third, The Gosford Leg (run by Jo), is 8 miles long and races through picturesque East Lothian. Jo is running this leg.
    • The final leg, The Glory Leg (run by Iain), is 4.4 miles long and runs back past Musselburgh Links (officially recognised by the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest golf course in the world!).

They are running in aid of Gorgie City Farm; a free-entry city farm which is run as a working farm. The animals are bred and raised on the farm, and they bring the sounds, smells and sights of rural Scotland into the city - a unique outdoor resource to promote community development, environmental sustainability and social inclusion.

If you would like to make a donation, the team's JustGiving page can be found here. Thank you for your support!
