Bennetts Associates is on the shortlist to redevelop the Opera House in Ghent, Belgium with Callebaut Architecten, Bureau Bouwtechniek and Charcoalblue

We are excited to be on the shortlist for the competition to develop a masterplan and design for the multidisciplinary modification of the opera building in the centre of Ghent.

The project is being developed by the building owner, Ghent City Council, in partnership with its main occupier, the Flemish Opera (Opera Ballet Vlaanderen). The intention is to create a Music and Performing Arts Centre that transforms the site from a production centre into a well-equipped performance venue for several cultural partners.

The competing teams on the shortlist are:
