James Nelmes talks to students from the Architecture School at CEU San Pablo University, Madrid, on Friday 7 July 2017, as part of the University's summer school in Edinburgh.
The summer school is offered to around 20-25 of the Architecture School's students across all levels. This year's summer school takes place at ESALA in Edinburgh and focuses on understanding history and architecture through drawing. It is based on a series of presentations during the morning sessions and drawing workshops in the afternoon sessions. In addition, a series of visits have been arranged in Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews. The summer school is led by Alejandro Gomez and Begona Lopez, both architects in Madrid who have taught at CEU for over 15 years.
Peter Fisher presents to students from the University of Texas at Austin, hosted at Bennetts Associates' London studio on 14 June 2017 as part of their ‘Emerging Technologies – London’ study-abroad programme. The feedback received from the tutor, Gregory Brooks, was very positive, with several of the students saying it was the best talk of their visit so far.
