We are delighted to announce that both Storyhouse in Chester and Shaftesbury Theatre in London have won a RIBA National Award 2018.
The judges said of Storyhouse: "A piece of radical robust conservation, the project is an interesting combination of public building typologies: theatre and library. The overlap of public spaces allows the building to offer a diverse range of connected spaces ranging from the intimate to the grand and theatrical."
Their citation for Shaftesbury Theatre says: "This powerfully dramatic addition to the skyline of London's West End is a feat of architectural and engineering and prowess."
