Royal College of Pathologists celebrate halfway point with concrete topping out ceremony

The Royal College of Pathologists client and contractor teams gathered to mark the “topping out” of the new headquarters building. The main contractor, Gilbert Ash, has been on site for 10 months and works are progressing well. The ceremony was a great way to mark the halfway point of the project with the concrete subcontractor and everyone had the opportunity to trowel in the last of the concrete.

There are two more floors of steel frame to go up and the building will open to the next generation of Pathologists in the winter of 2018.
