Cheshire West and Chester council named overall winner in the Guardian’s Public Service Awards

We are delighted that the Storyhouse library, theatre and cinema in Chester, run by the council library services team, is the overall winner at the Guardian’s Public Service Awards, in addition to their win in the transformation category.

The judges said Storyhouse is "a fantastic, feel-good advert for local authority-led regeneration and a vindication of bold investment".
