UKGBC will be hosting an online workshop on the 11th November designed to increase knowledge of embedding circular economy principles and reducing embodied carbon in construction projects. Along with experienced speakers specialising in sustainability, Peter will be the only architect discussing the increasingly successful reduction of carbon emissions in the built environment as well as the industry’s next challenge in reducing the carbon intensity of the structures themselves.

Several case studies will be discussed, with the workshop exploring the connection between the circular economy and the reduction of embodied carbon, looking at how we measure whole life carbon and presenting case studies from industry leaders to describe how key principles can work in practice.
