Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) represents an exciting watershed movement in the construction industry. For relevant building types, it offers significant quality, programme, value and safety benefits but does not need to become formulaic or stifle creativity. Bennetts Associates Director Julian Lipscombe will showcase the practice’s work in the field through a current high profile commission for Jaguar Land Rover and observations about where technologies and materials may take thinking in the future.
'Vision 2017: The future of the built environment' is at the Olympia in London from 6-7 June 2017.
'Place and assembly' runs from 11.30-11.50am on Tuesday 6 June, in theatre 2.
