Associate Sally Mackay joins the WiP committee for Central Scotland as the Schools Outreach Co-ordinator

Associate Sally Mackay has joined the Women in Property committee for Central Scotland. Women in Property is an organisation with aims to create opportunities, expand knowledge and inspire change for women working in the property and construction industry and in turn, seek an industry that is balanced, diverse and inclusive.

Sally's role will be the Schools Outreach Co-ordinator, which reflects her keen interest in youth development since leading young people on expeditions to the arctic with the charity British Exploring Society in the 90s and 2000s. More recently she is working with school children of all ages to encourage them to take an interest in the built environment and inspire them to think about design. She is currently co-chair of her local high school Parent Council and is a fantastic individual to aid and continue the excellent work Women in Property is doing in schools, breaking down perceived barriers and inspiring young people to consider a career in property.
