Bennetts Associates appointed to create a new cultural destination in Woolwich

Bennetts Associates has been appointed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich to convert a number of historic military buildings in Woolwich to create a new cultural destination. The predominantly unused Grade II and II* listed buildings will be transformed into a 16,500-square-metre creative hub for multiple cultural occupiers and will offer a wide range of events for local residents and wider audiences alike. Facilities will include a 450-seat theatre, a music venue, a museum and a variety of rehearsal studios, as well as providing a base for a number of internationally acclaimed theatre and dance companies.
