We are delighted to learn that the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists’ (RCOG) has made it into this year's Structural Steel Design Awards shortlist.
The award celebrates projects here in the UK displaying excellence in the field of steel construction, particularly demonstrating its potential in terms of sustainability, cost-effectiveness, aesthetics and innovation. RCOG, completed with Structural Engineers Integral Engineering is a combination of light touch engineering to the existing Victorian hop warehouse dating from 1853 and a 1980s office building. Within the new light-filled atrium a helical stair formed from steel trusses is concealed within the steel plate balustrades.
The winners will be announced in September and a big congratulations to the whole team!
