Caoimhe joined Bennetts Associates as a Part I Architectural Assistant in 2022 and is currently working on a new office building in London that strives to push the boundaries of sustainability.
Her thesis project at university aimed to intertwine the subconscious and conscious mind and reflect both in the designs, through the play of release and compression. The project drew inspiration from the historic tunnels of Birkenhead in its ambitious form and materiality. It won Caoimhe a RIBA Bronze President Medal nomination for 2022, and awards for ‘Painting’ sponsored by CassArt. She also won scholarships from RIBA Future Architects for her undergraduate work.
Caoimhe thoroughly enjoys building conceptual ideas and the postproduction process, creating collages inspired by her favourite paintings, and textures that bring a personal connection to the images.
