Iain joined the practice in 2011 and has worked on a range of projects including higher education, commercial, cultural and local authority jobs. Projects he has recently worked on include the conversion and extension of an existing 1980s building into new council headquarters for the London Borough of Bexley, feasibility studies for the University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh Central Library and the HS2 regeneration masterplan for Manchester. The project for Bexley Council provided the opportunity for Iain to develop his CAD management role on a substantial project, across both the London and Edinburgh offices. The Edinburgh Central Library study allowed him to gain an understanding of design in the context of an important listed building. Lastly, he has expanded his knowledge of the commercial demands of large development projects through the HS2 masterplan.
Iain has a personal interest in CGI and animation and enjoys developing his skills in this area as a hobby. In his spare time he likes snowboarding, wild camping, rock climbing and cooking.
