The craft of placemaking is what drew Nick to architecture and his main interest is in the creation of rich spaces from adaptation of old into new buildings. Nick is a RIBA Conservation Registrant and is due to complete his accreditation as a Conservation Architect in September 2023. Whilst working toward his accreditation as a Conservation Architect, he has applied his skills on several large and listed building projects, including the refurbishment and renovation of the Grade II-listed Student Services Centre for the University of Cambridge, Woolwich Works cultural hub in a former arsenal factory and Grade II* listed projects for the Grosvenor Estate in Central London.
He was also involved in the design of five Crossrail stations in West London and a range of competitions and early-stage feasibility studies for different clients. He is currently a key member of the team delivering one of the final buildings in the Kings Cross redevelopment for Argent and actively part of managing BIM and Skills & Training within the practice.
