Ina Manafova

Ina joined Bennetts Associates in 2026 after completing her Masters at the University of Sheffield. She is currently working on a sustainable office development in Cambridge.

Prior to joining, Ina gained experience across large-scale residential masterplanning, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Her Master’s thesis explored an alternative approach to regeneration on Rochdale’s urban edge, prioritising site repair over greenfield expansion through the creative reuse and retention of existing industrial fabric.

Ina’s research interests focus on visual communication and architectural representation. Her dissertation, presented at the 2026 Biosemiotics conference in Sheffield, investigated how architectural imagery constructs narratives of place identity and influences public perception in large-scale urban regeneration
