Nigel is a highly experienced Construction Project Manager and has led a diverse range of construction projects including Hospitals, Supermarkets, Offices, and Office fit-outs, a Theatre, a Hotel, Medical Centres, Extra-care Housing and Residential housing. His regional experience extends beyond the UK to Hong Kong, where he coordinated and led the construction planning for the new airport runways and taxiway project, Malaysia - fit out of the Petronas Twin Towers, and Indonesia.
Nigel holds a master’s degree in Construction Law and Arbitration from Kings College, London, and has extensive experience of both referring and defending adjudications, negotiation and amendments to contract terms, managing commercial, contractual, and health & Safety risk, project planning and programming, and forensic delay analysis. Nigel spent 6 years as an elected Trustee of the Chartered Institute of Building, and during this time, chaired the Institute’s Audit and Risk Committee, Investment Committee, and Technology Board. Prior to this, Nigel chaired the Institute’s Professional Conduct Committee for 10 years.
