Ben Hopkins

Ben joined the practice in 2012 and has been involved in a wide range of projects including the Storyhouse cultural centre, JLR’s Global HQ and 11-21 Canal Reach for Meta.

In addition to project delivery, Ben is responsible for the practice’s strategy as well as its sustainability consultancy on projects. Over the past ten years he has led the practice’s adoption of science-based targets, its carbon footprinting and removal strategies, and the environmental aspects of the practice’s B Corp certification.

Outside of the practice he has been heavily involved in the UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standard, was a co-author of the LETI Embodied Carbon Primer and the subsequent rating scheme and was named as part of Building Magazine’s 40 under 40 cohort for 2025.
