David joined the practice after completing his Part II at the University of Edinburgh. His postgraduate project, Thalassophilitos, proposed a new urban intervention within the Nicosia Green Zone in Cyprus and received multiple accolades, including the Andrew Grant Scholarship, the George Simpson Postgraduate Prize, and a nomination for the RIBA President’s Silver Medal.

During his time at Bennetts Associates, David has contributed to a range of major projects across the commercial, education, cultural, and hospitality sectors, including the Edinburgh Futures Institute, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and the Shaftesbury Theatre. Most recently, he has led teams on the redevelopment and decarbonisation of 5 New Street Square in London; the Hosur Guest Welcome Centre: a high-end commercial hospitality facility in Bangalore, India; and Kett House: a highly sustainable speculative office development in Cambridge.
Since joining Bennetts Associates in 2016, David has maintained a keen interest in architectural visualisation and emerging technologies. He plays an active role within the visual communications team, helping to research, develop, and train staff in new digital tools and techniques.
