Ian Donnelly

Ian joined Bennetts Associates in 2022 after working with a range of architectural practices in Ireland and Canada. This experience gave him the opportunity to work on projects of various scales and types, and he has developed a particular eye for simple, well-crafted buildings.

During his studies at University College Dublin and Virginia Tech, Ian developed a passion for 3D fabrication and mass timber construction, writing his thesis on CLT and its application in an Irish context. He has continued to pursue this interest in his professional work at Bennetts Associates, most recently contributing to the Timber Square project in Bankside.
