Laura Gil Santana

Laura is currently working on Timber Square and 2 Copper Square, two ambitious net zero carbon developments with timber structures. She is a senior associate with extensive experience in the workplace sector, and a special interest in sustainable development.

Laura joined the practice in 2015 to work on the London Fruit and Wool Exchange project. Following this, she was involved in Meta’s Headquarters project in King’s Cross and in Jaguar Land Rover’s Advanced Product Creation Centre, a major new research and development facility in Warwickshire for which she worked on a number of packages and led the fit-out. She is currently working on Timber Square in Southwark and 2 Copper Square in Brent Cross, both ambitious Net-Zero carbon developments with timber structures.

Laura holds a master’s degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (ETSAM) and has previously worked in Spain and China. Her international experience has enhanced her understanding of design processes; she is an adaptable and curious individual, who believes that good architecture is the result of collaborative effort. She was a director of the Bennetts Associates Employee Ownership Trust between 2019 and 2023.
